May Progress Update

Integration with Polygon and May progress Update.

May has been an eventful month for NoVa Battles. Investors, gamers, and everyone in between have had something to talk about pertaining to NoVa Battles. Let’s talk about the main points in May with the most important part at the end.

Whitepaper

Our whitepaper has been updated to have new images that better represent our current progress. We have focused on updating the NoVa Soul (our NFTs) page as well as making a major change toward the earning structure of the ecosystem. NoVa Soul and Polygon

Our game’s NFTs are called NoVa Souls. We have had winding conversations with several organizations to implement a fix for our players’ major concern; gas fees. We’re glad to announce that we are currently in the process of implementing our NFT smart contract on the Polygon network. This change allows our community to take advantage of Polygon’s layer two solutions which enable the growth and changes to occur to an NFT’s statistics when we implement GameFi functionalities. Plus, the gas fees are much lower than being solely on the Ethereum Blockchain.

Presale

Our long-term partner MaskEx has worked with us to launch our presale. We’re finally able to provide NVA to the public while utilizing a system that is easy to pick up and use. The current presale is doing very well with over 50% of the allocated number of the tokens already sold. It’s been a very strong showing from our community and investors. Game Development

The biggest news in May was the launch of the public beta. Everyone who was waiting to get their hands on the game and to see how everything unfolds now has the opportunity to fully enter the NoVa Battles ecosystem. A lot of progress has been made such as the game balance, UI design, champion development, and server stability debugging.

The beta rewards people — as we have discussed in our previous post — but it also serves a big purpose to gauge how the community responds to the change of mechanics and what they would like us to improve on.

Listing and Earning Mechanism Update

The final wrap-up of May is very exciting. We’ve already finalized a listing on a major exchange and we will be announcing the details when we’re near the end of the presale. The biggest change that we’ve done internally was to develop a unique earning system.
Our system enables all the NVA used within the game’s ecosystem to be repurchased with ETH but has the ETH set in a pool that allows users to concurrently earn.

We are the first game that allows the players to earn NVA as well as ETH. We will work with our community to help optimize the overall development and style of the game and we have big plans coming up for the total revamp of the NoVa Battles online footprint.
